Who am I?

I’m a tech enthusiast who’s been building personal computers (PCs) since the early days of the Intel Pentium processor (back in the late 90s). Back then, you’d regularly find me at computer fairs looking for parts to upgrade my system.

Professionally I’ve been a programmer for over 25 years (here’s my LinkedIn profile) and I know my way around computer software and how it works from my BSc Hons Degree in Microelectronics and Computer Engineering.

But don’t let that intimidate you. Building computers just takes a little understanding and anyone can do it with a little knowledge and that’s why I built this website!

Why This Site?

So, here’s the deal: I’ve been nuts about computers for as long as I can remember, and after years of building my own rigs and helping friends with theirs, I thought, why not try to make this whole thing a bit easier for everyone else?

That’s pretty much why this site came to life. It’s all about sharing the love for PCs, breaking down the tech talk into something we can all understand, and having a blast doing it.

Whether you’re looking to build your first computer or you’re on your tenth, I’m here to share what I know, learn from you guys, and hopefully make the whole process a bit less intimidating.
